It’s possible to do the right things outwardly while still holding onto divided loyalties inwardly. God isn’t looking for partial obedience; He wants our whole hearts. When we allow compromise to linger, even in small ways, it creates space for idols to grow and God's presence to fade from the center of our lives. As followers of Jesus, we need the power of his Holy Spirit to ensure our hearts are not divided but entirely devoted with all-in love for God.
