God As King | What's the Point?

The purpose of the temple in 1 Kings 8 is God’s desire to dwell among His people. As Solomon dedicates the temple and God’s presence fills the space like a cloud, we’re reminded that the true point of the temple wasn’t grandeur or ritual but relationship. Today, through Jesus, we are the temple of the Holy Spirit—God’s presence lives within us.

As temples of the living God, we are invited to tend to His presence within us, reject the lies of the enemy, and align our hearts with His truth. His presence transforms us from the inside out.
